Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Riau with IEEE Indonesia section and ComSoc Indonesia Chapter as technical co sponsors have conducted the 2018 2nd International Conference on Electrical Engineering and Informatics (ICon EEI) successfully on 16-17 October 2018 . I was the general chair of the conference. This conference has published 38 conference papers in IEEE Xplore and attended by participants from more than 8 countries.
